Always by appointment
- For consultations, outpatient examinations or treatments an appointment is always required. (Only in emergencies you can come to the hospital unannounced, namely to the Emergency Department).

What should you do in advance?
- Make sure you bring the necessary documents (see below)
- Leave for the hospital on time. Make sure you are at the hospital half an hour before the time of the consultation. That way you can register at a kiosk in the reception area at your leisure.
What to bring along?
- identity card
- blood group card (if in your possession)
- hospitalisation insurance affiliation card/forms
- in case of a visit due to an accident at work: name of your employer, insurance policy
- if applicable: the referral letter from your general practitioner
- list of home medication
